The Wood
The maple and spruce used by Guy Harrison is hand selected in Europe from specialist wood dealers. The best materials are chosen for their appearance and acoustic potential. At times, the wood is chosen to match a particular old instrument being copied.

The Varnish
The varnish is made through a cooking process of natural oils and various tree resins in small batches. This gives control over the flexibility, hardness, colour and intensity of the varnish. The process of making the varnishes is traditional and is the result of years of practical and academic research.
